Created in 1990 Jewish Care charities provide a wide range of health and social care services, which currently includes 12 residential and nursing care homes around London and the South East.
At the forefront of health and social care provision Jewish care spend more than 1m per annum on their maintenance and refurbishment programme. They also have an ambitious 10-year vision to expand care for vulnerable people with over 100m planned spend. As part of which a new 40m campus at Golders Green currently on site, will provide a nursing and dementia care home, 45 apartments for independent living, a community centre for older people and head office.
As part of a select tender list of Facilities Services providers Etcetera's input continues to increase in value by approx 30% per year. Comprising of both planned and reactive facilities services. Ranging from £30, including inserting door smoke seals, to £50k refurbishment works including bedroom refits, new wet rooms, reception and lounge re-organisations and specialist joinery items. In house trades staff provided on facilities contracts include joiners, plumbers, painters, decorators, tilers, electricians and labourers.
